Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding and Local Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transports will be strengthened and listening and gathering centers established.
