Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community sources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
