Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
