Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Involvement

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held at the lounge of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, scheduled to last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community sources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, transportation services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
