Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Agency Collaboration
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative‘s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
