Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Involvement
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will have a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport services, centers for listening and gathering, and other institutions will be enhanced.
