Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation services and facilities such as listening and gathering centers will also be enhanced.
