Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation, community centers, listening centers, and gathering spots will be expanded.
