Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Communities in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, focuses primarily on improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation, local centers, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
