Community Collaboration Launched to Support Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Social transport services, as well as support centers and gathering points, will also be enhanced.
