Community Support Project Launch in Cornuda Aims for Social Inclusion
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transport, community centers, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
