Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories. Social transport services, as well as listening and gathering centers, will also be strengthened.
