Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve living conditions for elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation and institutes, listening and gathering centers, will be enhanced.
