Cornuda Social Support Project Launches EU-Funded Initiative for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the target groups. Additionally, social transport services, institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
