Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
