Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
