Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
