Cornuda’s 1996 Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Care
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially weaker individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces took part in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, focuses particularly on improving the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
