Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

A few representatives from local political and social forces participated in ^the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total sum allocated for the ^initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the most vulnerable categories.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be strengthened.
