Local Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents with €100K Initiative

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
