Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation services, support facilities, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
