Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the realization of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
