Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Promote Inclusion and Well-being

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative is around one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
