Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Engagement
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of the local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for weaker categories.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
