Cornuda Social Support Project Launched with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total allocated amount for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
