Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launch Promotes Social Inclusion and Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and several volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering spaces.
