Community Collaboration in Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at helping the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for implementing the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Social transport services will also be strengthened, along with services, listening centers, and gathering points.
