Cornuda’s 1996 Social Inclusion Project: Community & Institution Collaboration
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable groups.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport, services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
