Cornuda Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization initiatives for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, support services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
