Community Collaboration Launches Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transport services, support centers, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
