Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable categories.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
