Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support and EU Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total allocated sum for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transport services, support services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
