Cornuda Social Support Project: Local Cooperation and Inclusion Efforts
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially vulnerable.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union resources.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and to improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
