Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European grants.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport services, support centers, listening centers, and community gathering spaces will be enhanced.
