Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which lasts two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
