Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Transportation services, social transports, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
