Community Collaboration Launches Program to Support Vulnerable Residents

On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project benefitting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community resources.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
