Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for implementing the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
