Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
