Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding and Community Involvement
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be strengthened.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to support initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer organizations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
