Cornuda Social Support Project 1996: Local Collaboration and Inclusive Goals
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport services, community centers, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be strengthened.
