Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100k Funding and Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry in June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
