Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.
Social transportation and services will also be expanded, along with listening centers and meeting places.
Purpose and Social Inclusion
The project aims to promote inclusive social engagement and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
l Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting initiatives, providing surveillance services and coordinating the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
