Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the^’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.

Social transportation and services will also be expanded, along with listening centers and meeting places.
