Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations and various volunteer associations.
Objectives and funding
The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total funding allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be strengthened.
