Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, with a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total allocated sum for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

^l Comune di Cornuda has committed itself to support the initiatives, providing surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in^’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
