Start of the agreement and participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts for two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
