Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of ^’ the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Furthermore, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
