Cornuda Social Project Boosts Inclusion for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of ’ the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the people involved, also creating moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer organizations will have a central role in’ the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
