Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community Inclusion in 1996

Start of the agreement and participants
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total allocated funds for the ’ initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
