Rovato Financial Police Seize €6.2 Million in 110% Superbonus Tax Credits

The Rovato Guardia di Finanza, coordinated by the Brescia Public Prosecutor’s Office, has seized more than 6.2 million euros in tax credits as part of investigations into the Superbonus 110%. The operation, ordered by the Brescia Preliminary Investigations Judge, concerns allegedly fake tax credits tied to energy-efficiency works carried out only partially, affecting an apartment and four condominiums in the provinces of Brescia and Milan.

Investigations have reconstructed, according to authorities, a system for generating and circulating photocopied credits: about 400,000 euros linked to the apartment, and over 5.8 million euros for the four condominiums. Three individuals have been referred to the Prosecutor, suspected of aggravated fraud for obtaining public funds, issuing invoices for non-existent transactions, and false attestations. The case remains in the preliminary investigations phase, with liability to be determined by a final judgment.
